The Team

KELLY trained in Cheltenham where she studied Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Jazz and Street Dance. She has taken part in various performances around the country, working with  companies such as Ballet Creations, dancing in shows such as The Nutcracker, Swan Lake and a special performance created especially for Sir Patrick Moore’s 80th birthday celebration. She went to University in Lancaster where she studied a degree in Theatre Studies taking modules in Dance. Here she gained a 2:1 honours degree as well as gaining experience with various Northern Dance companies.

Anneli was initially set up in 2003, before Kelly left for University, and saw over 70 students attend the classes. After graduating, Kelly could think of nothing she wanted more than to continue her love for dancing in her career. So, in April 2008 Anneli was set up once again, and went on to see some familiar faces from 2003! Kelly continues to study dance herself, bettering her ability in order to provide professional and specialist advice and guidance for the students that come to her.

Kelly was also a Primary School teacher, something that benefits her classes greatly. Her experience working with children, knowledge of the National Curriculum and her background of dance teaching all serve to provide a high quality service for all that attend her classes. Her classes are full of energy and enthusiasm, and provide you with an opportunity to learn something new alongside building your confidence.

Kelly believes dancing is about who you want to be as well as what you want to do; it’s about freedom of expression, an emotive form of exercise.
